Deborah Berry

After 25 years working in personnel, training, personal and organisational development Deborah studied Anatomy, Physiology and Therapeutic Massage – graduating in 1998 and establishing her own practice immediately.

Attending several advanced bodywork trainings made her aware of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). Having researched the courses available she selected the most thorough and attended a Dr Vodder Method Basic level course in September 1999 and completed Therapies 2&3 of the Dr Vodder Method at the Dr Vodderschule, Austria in July 2000.

Since then she has worked mainly independently but has also been employed in a variety of settings (Hospice & Residential Lymphoedema Clinics) and provided contracted out services to NHS Primary Care Trusts - treating people of all ages and with varying degrees and classifications of Lymphoedema. Her case load has covered the range of pathologies indicated for MLD.

Following 19 months of teacher training with certified Dr Vodder Method teachers she qualified to teach Basic level in September 2005. After several more months of teacher training she qualified to teach Therapy 1 in October 2008.
